Ombak Rindu Novel

I love to read. But it all depends on what type of books, that is. As for this, I told myself that I just NEED to read the novel because there was a rave review saying the novel is far much better as compared to the movie itself. Well, truth is, we can't compare movie and books. The latter is always better than the former. Hands down on that. :) I dont think its possible for the director to take EVERYTHING from the book and make it into a movie. Good enough the director has already took the interesting parts from it. Its enough to get us all emotional already. :)

Now this. I know I should actually read the book before watching the movie. But what I did was the other way round. Nevertheless, I still enjoy reading the book. It got me teared up reading certain parts of it, really. I didnt know I could get so emotional by just reading. Hehe! 19.90RM is so worth the bucks, I tell you!

These are the comments I've been getting eversince I've started to gain weight like nobodys business. Despite the fact I am so immune to all this hurtful remarks, be it my relatives or even long-lost friends or whoever, I still do feel a tinge of offended. Of course, I'm human with feelings too! Normally I would just smiled it away when they say such things right in my face. I would just smile and pretend that it wasnt hurtful at all. I would just smile and said nothing. I cant seem to find any words to say or answer to their questions. Wait, they dont even ask for an answer in the first place too. They just give hurtful remarks and expects me to say nothing, right. Little did they know that they have offended a girl's feelings? Little did they realised that they had demoralise someone's self-esteem? No, they dont. They think its nothing to say such things. They think its okay to say/call/ask someone's fat. :-(

Fine, I've decided to do something about it. I'm going to stop this people from giving hurtful remarks. I've decided. I've started to..................... jog. I hate runnings actually. But I think its high time for me to at least adopt a healthy lifestyle with at least one easy exercise for me to do. Its about time for me to put on the jogging shoes for a good use. Yesterday was my first morning jog that I did, alone. Jogged for an hour. It feels so good though. Plugged on my earpiece and slow jogged around the park. Hopefully I'll be able to continue this healthy lifestyle. I need to lose weight already. ;-)

Port Dickson & KL

I've just came back from a short getaway with my family. It was a 4D3N trip to Port Dickson and KL. We stayed at Grand Lexis in PD while in KL, we stayed at our usual hotel; Bintang Warisan Hotel. :-) I cant really remember the last time I went to PD. Probably about 12 years back. All I remember about PD is nothing but the beach. Thats all. Nothing exciting there. This time when I came, its still pretty much the same. Nothing much interest me. The only best part of PD was the hotel that we stayed in; Grand Lexis. Why? It has a private pool in our room! :-D

In KL, nothing much we did also. We've been there many times there. Didn't shop much. Pampered myself with full body massage and pedicure. That's it. :-) Overall, I still enjoyed myself. My wish to ride the ATV and rive a go-kart has been fulfilled. :-)

Lastly, I was happy when I got back in Singapore and received a text from him. Aww..... <3

Ombak Rindu

I was in Kuala Lumpur last weekend for a short vacation. While I was at Pavillion, I decided to catch this midnight. Since it is not showing here in Singapore then why not I catch it while I'm there, right. I heard about the good reviews about the movie and to add on, Aaron Aziz is the main actor in the movie. God, I remember those good old days when I was in the AAFC (Read: Aaron Aziz Fan Club). Hahaha! Talk about celebrity crush. :-P

Some reviews I read online said that the movie is nothing compared to its novel. Well, I think we shouldn't compare novel and movie. Its two different thing here. For someone that has not read the novel yet, I personally think the movie is excellent! Well perhaps if I were to read the novel, then I would probably say the novel is much better as compared to the movie. In actual case, be it whatever movies that comes with its book/novel, the book/novel is always much better. Hands down on that. :-) Nevertheless, I hope I will get the novel in Johor Baru. ;-)

Bottomline, my rating for Ombak Rindu is 4/5!

Standard Chartered Marathon

I was on medic duty for the Standard Chartered Marathon event from 3am-7am. I was lucky to be station at Orchard which was the Starting Point. Exactly right smack in front of The Heeren. We actually stayed overnight in school's hostel. Had a good time with the girls. And then the bus sent us to our respective stations. Reached at about 2.45am. Mdm Lam is the best! She treat us to Macdees. ;) Just lepak around till 4.30am to get ready.

So lucky to be station at the Starting Point! =)

2 years of in-campus has finally come to an end. Exams over! Alhamdulillah papers was manageable. Just hoping for good results. Insya'Allah. Right now holidays have started. And there's a list of things that I'm going to do. Cant wait...... ;)

Mended Friendship

Todays entry is a tad personal but still I'd like to share here in my humble blog. Something that we all can learn about friendship.

I have this friend back in my secondary school and her name is Shima. She is the very first friend that I make with on my very first day of school. Eversince then, we click very well. I seriously mean, VERY WELL. Wherever we go and whatever we do, we stick to one another like glue. Believe it or not, we actually had a crush on the SAME guy. But, that doesnt affect our friendship. Hah Hah! Afterall, we were just crazy immature girls back then that no guys wanted us, right. Who cares. :P

However, I'll be lying if I were to say that our friendship is perfect with no arguments or silly tiffs. Our friendship is just like others too. We have our personal point of opinions and there were some point of time we gave each other that ignorant attitude when something went wrong. GIRLS... hah hah hah!

Our friendship blossoms till we were 17. That was when we sat for our 'O level. A year later, we had this conflict about something that I shall not reveal it here because it seems very childish, really. haha! I wasnt really sure what was the conflict about but oh well, forget it. Sadly, we stopped contacting eversince then. yes yes, how saddening and disappointing it is. Friendship went down the drain just like that after like what, 5 years?! We broke up. We both didnt even tried to be the saviour for the friendship. Ego eh.... tsk tsk.

Well, we all know that we are bound to lose friends in life. Some friends will just come and go. And honestly speaking, some are better to be out of our life because they bring no meaning to our life. Correct? However, with Shima, its different. I've come to regret and realise that she was special. Like a sister. You know, that kinda feeling? :/
We both went our separate ways. Me to ITE while she took her private O's. I feel so terribly sad, disappointed and heartaching thinking about this broken friendship. I swear! :'( Its like, I've lost a sister. How sad it is. Therefore, for 3 years, we didnt contact one another. We didnt even text or whatever. NOTHING, at all. We moved on with life and make new circle of friends.

THEN.....

This year, I can't remember which month. I was Facebook-ing when I stumbled on Shima's profile. Thinking whether I should add or send her a private message first. I'm scared of rejection. I'm scared if I'll be ignored. But, I took the courage to drop her a message instead. I didnt pin any high hope for her to reply though. But I was wrong, she replied instantly!

I smiled and we continued to message one another followed by a few weeks after that, I received a friend request notification from her. Accepted! ;)

We started to Whatsapp-ed quite often and had brief conversation about school and life. It's a nice feeling. =) I feel so blessed that we both are back in talking terms just like 3 years ago. After much of girls talks in whatsapp, we decided to have Iftar together which was yesterday.

Trust me, after 3 years of not meeting, I feel all nervous but excited at the same time to meet that girl. It feels like I was going for my first date! Hah Hah Hah.

Met up at Airport and we decided to dine at Popeyes. There was no sense of awkwardness or whatever nonsense, we talked and laughed like how we were back in our secondary school days. We did a lot of catching ups over dinner and didnt realise of the time. Alhamdulillah, I feel so much better and glad that everything is back on track. =)

Tired but Happy

Hi, I'm lying down in bed while blogging via my Blackberry. I refuse to budge an inch to even switch on the laptop. I am that tired.

Got back from work and that sums up my 5 weeks posting in Tan Tock Seng Hospital Ward 11B. Next 2 weeks will be posted to Medical Ward. Still has a lot of skills needs to be done. Stressful.

Throughout the 5 weeks of posting at Ward 11B has been a good one thus far. Managed to get more Facebook friends. Hahaha! I mean that's what we usually do on the last day; get the staffs Facebook accounts and add them up. That's how we keep in touch. :)

So anyways, its Ramadhan. The holy month is here. Alhamdulillah, my Ramadhan has been good despite the fact I'm not able to fast YET, but important thing, we need to respect the month. And I think this Ramadhan has bring me much closer to a long lost friend of mine. We're doing a lot of catching ups these few days and even plans to meet up for iftar probably next week. Insya'Allah. I feel like I'm going on a first date. Its been eons we didn't meet!

A short update.

Its been quite some time since I last shopped. Whats more, shopping for make-ups?! Honestly, I know nuts about the art or right technique of applying make-up. The only thing I leave the house with is my concealer and face powder. Thats it. And if I'm in the mood to be extra pretty, I'll use the mascara. Envy those girls who can draw the perfect eyeliner and put on eyeshadow and blend them very well! I CANT!

I have no idea why I bought all these actually. But what I know is, they are selling off at a very cheap prices! Thank you, Smoochiezz. =)

Maybe I should try to put on minimal make up with natural coloured eyeshadow? Will try. And then, take a picture to upload here. Hee!

To the insecure girl, (you know who you are) I shall not mention your name here. This is to protect your identity and I dont wish you to be the laughing stock by the others.

Firstly, I would like you to know that what you did is something that I cant accept it. What you did was something that has shown how ridiculous you are and how insecure you are towards your boyfriend. If you love him, you should have trust him. It is normal for a girl to have doubts towards their boyfriend and it is normal to feel jealous when your boyfriend contacts with their girl friends. But you need to know this babe, whatever between me and your boyfriend is so long ago. Years ago. We dont keep in touch eversince then. I dont even have his number/facebook/msn or whatever you can think of. I dont. It is only once in a year (or maybe not at all) that we meet during Hari Raya outings.

I dont see the point of you to react in such a way to a certain extent of creating a fake Facebook account just to add me up and be friends with me and acting all nice to me. Not only that, you even add my friends and not forgetting my BROTHER. Also, you check up on my blog entries. Just tell me, what is your motive actually? What is your purpose of doing all this? WHAT? You want to be closed to me and get to know me so that you could dig up some of past stories or what? Its really ridiculous.

Babe, there is always a fine line between being insecure towards your boyfriend. I am not an expert in this area, but I'm speaking up what I think is right personally. Do you actually think of the consequences that you will get before you start this whole lil drama? I dont think so. You act on impulse without thinking, dont you? Now tell me, what do you get in return? YOU SHOULD KNOW THE ANSWER. I know, but I am not going to say it. This is just putting you on public shame.

Come on, stop living in the past. Why would you feel jealous of? I wonder. Sigh. Again, I am letting you to know this. What you have done is something that I CANNOT ACCEPT IT. I dont entertain all this nonsense craps from anybody, mind you. I think I deserve an apology from you. Hmm. An apology for stalking me up.

Final words from me. You create this mess, YOU clean it up. I will be very much glad if you could come up to me and clear the air. Do not tell me you cant find me. I will not buy your excuses. Because if you could create a fake facebook account just to add me up and checks up on my blog, you should know how to reach me by now. =)

Sometimes life gets hectic. Sometimes life gets hard. Sometimes life is a breeze. We do or say things or we react to something that sometimes we are not aware of what we said or did. True? Therefore, at times before I go to bed, I lied down and sometimes I wonder is the life that I want? Is being a nurse as my occupation is the right choice I've made? An uncle of mine (I dont really get along pretty well with him) actually asked this straight in my face, "tak geli ke jasi nurse cuci pantat orang?" Right, thanks. That was really a smack in my face. I just smiled it off. Ikutkan hati, nak aje jawab balik. But, that will be disrespectful.

Sometimes, as an elder adult, you should also show some respect to the young ones. You want that respect, you got to earn it! Correct? Talk about two-way traffic. :)

I dont know for how many times I've make this clear. I WANT TO BE A NURSE! Nobody or nothing will stop me from making my dream comes true. I've gone the long route to where I am now. I am glad that both my parents are being so supportive and thats what makes me going. It doesnt concern you whether I need to cuci pantat orang or cebok orang berak or cuci muntah orang. Its part of my job and I dont mind doing it. So stop giving me that dirty look. You can look down on me for all I care but lets see who's going to have the last laugh when YOU grow old and couldnt even carry yourself up but to depend on others and not even your own kid wants to clean you, cuci pantat kau, clean your mess or whatevernots okay.

Moving on.

Lets just update quite a bit about school.

I'm currently on two days medical leave. Down with flu and a very bad bad bad irritating cough with phlegm. My head feels all clot up. Its not the good time to fall sick when you have tests on the day, you know. I actually gave school a missed and only came for the test itself. Initially, I thought to myself "tkpela, dah sakit gini.. whatever I studied I might not even recall. tawakal aje.." But Alhamdulillah, I managed to answer the questions. It was managable. Now, all tests are over. Am just waiting for exams!

I think I've been too hard on myself with revisions till I fall sick. hahahaha. Studious lah konon. :P But I'm glad that revision has been good so far. Stress but yet okay for me. :) Two more weeks for this to be over and its time for holiday! Cant wait. Cant wait. Cant wait. :D

So its been that long since I last blog. School has really drain me out that by the time I reach home, I am already so tired to even sit in front of the laptop to update. I depend on my Blackberry for surfing the net most of the time. Talking about school, the reason that I am so worn out is because year 2 is really tiring and hectic for us. With projects (Thank God, I've submitted!), class tests that still has 50% percentage and finally the exams that I cant wait to get over with! I really want to do well and ace in my studies just to get a place in the poly right after I graduate. I am really working hard for it. Whatever my results will be, I thank Allah because I've worked hard for it. And HE knows whats best for me. =)

I'm not saying its wrong to be depressed at some point of time in your life because it's human nature to be so. Feelings come and go, but sometimes your efforts to blame and rant never seem to end. Yes, I may not know you that well or maybe not at all, but since you're already sharing all your negativity and depressing thoughts with the whole world, I believe I have the rights to comment on it too, no? Being heartbroken is normal, going through that phase is inevitable in life, but generalizing and accusing the opposing sex due to your own mistakes is definitely childish and makes you sound more pathetic than you already are, given the state that you're in now. Who knows, being the 'prettyhead', 'gorgeous' girl that you are, always fed with compliments which obviously got to your head hence boosted your ego and rocketed it till the stars, you feel unbelievably impeccable. But suddenly, a heartbreak put it all to an abrupt stop and finally brought your feet to where it belongs, the cold hard ground where you left behind some friends, family or those you felt weren't within your league behind. Your ego was shredded like an old rag and reality sets in that, you are actually not that special. You refuse to digest that fact and you kept puking out non-sensible comments, sarcastic segways, selfish and cruel accusations because you still think you're never to be blamed and you're all innocent like a spoilt rotten princess. With every word you speak, theres a secret self pride masked by your sad stories.

Get this to your head you fucking spoilt bitch. I've seen too much generalization everywhere and your unconstructive comments about others are just as narrow as your fucking 'pretty' head. Want to know how to deal with a heartache? Stop blaming the other party and think forward!! You may think you didnt commit any mistakes in that failed relationship, but maybe you actually have done some unintentionally, for example neglecting your partner when others keep on feeding you with compliments (and many more I can list out), but you are just too egoistic to notice or admit it. There are some factors which could incriminate and there won't be any way for you to vindicate yourself.

Ranting and seeking attention or sympathy from others won't heal the pain or ease anything. Instead it's all your ego talking, rearing it's ugly head to make you feel better by pushing the blame for you. It's slowly fuelling your anger and jealousy which is not supposed to happen in the first place. Please learn to accept reality and adjust the way you overcome the problem. There are many other things I did not list out, but you get my point.

I dont know what I would do without my Ayah. Despite the fact he can be very strict in certain areas and very conservative, he is still the best father. He came all the way down to my place to settle for my driving payments. Booked on the conversion dates and settled everything, he paid. Thats it. I didnt pay a single cent. So yes, I've convert to an Automatic car now. No longer Manual. :)

Anyways, its the three weeks break for me. Not much of plans. Well except for staying at home to cook for the family and spend time in front of the laptop and television. It can be very mundane sometimes, but I pretty much fine with it. Staying indoor is better sometimes than spending time outdoor. :)

Woke up today and was greeted with this email. First, it was my PDL has expired on the 19th March. (I still have yet to renew it!) And now, this. Its all about money. Nevertheless, I'm lucky to have Ayah to help me with the payment. What would I do without him. Ayah suggested to come along with me tomorrow to deal with the payments. Besides that, he has been asking me to switch my driving course to Auto instead. Well, I dont mind though. We will settle this once and for all, tomorrow. :/

On a sidenote, I've signed up for a 1 week free pass to California Fitness. Will need to come down to Novena later in the evening to collect the pass. Its high time for me to lose weight already. :( I feel FAT. Look at my tummy, I feel like crying. I swear!

If only my hair is long enough, I'd love to do the whipping man. Nevermind, I shall wait for it to grow for now because I'm missing my long hair. Dear hair, please grow!

Anyhows, three months of attachment for 1.2 is OVER. That means, I'm done being a year one nursing student. How time flies! I swear for the whole of three months, it was really a madcow experience that we went through. But eventually we managed to pull through the ordeal. We are just the best! =)

So on the last day of attachment, Mdm Helen ordered pizzas and drinks. Not to forget, she actually gets each of us some small gifts. Such a nice and sweet lecturer she is. May God bless her. Not forgeting, we took pictures. But that has to wait for Shahidah to upload them up. *waiting* Will put up an entry just on that, right.

So since attachment is over, Vanessa decided to have a picnic. Initial plan was to go for the beach party at Azzura. But we bailed it out because we dont feel like to. Settled on at Sentosa, Palawan Beach.

Before making our way there, the three of us went to Giant to shop on drinks, tidbits and snacks. I like the part where we grabbed anything and dumped it in the trolley. Haha... I'm weird.

So at the beach, we played cards. We sang. We danced. It was fun fun fun. I reached home only after midnight, that is. =)

I've never had fun with my friends for quite some time.

Alhamdulillah. I've turn twenty-one years old now. The feeling is still well, pretty much the same to me. Just a change in the figure doesnt make much of any difference in my life. (For now, at least.) I had a small surprise from my attachment friends at the hospital. Vanessa came and surprised with a cake with lighted candles followed by the rest of them singing the birthday song in harmony. LOL! I wasnt expecting anything, really. So sweet of them. I was touched. My lecturer got for me a plush toy as a present. (How old am I again?) Hehe!

Well, when the clock strikes midnight there goes the texts/calls flooding in throughout the day. Some whom I thought wouldnt even remember, actually remembers my birthday!For once, I feel like someone special who gets the attention the whole day, you know. Thank you everyone for the wishes and your doa(s) for me. Nothing much I could ask for on my birthday. :) May Allah bless you guys.

Funny thing for this year, I received advance birthday wishes two days in advance! Thank you so much. I still do appreciate it. You get pretty excited to wish me, I think? Hehe. So well, my 21st birthday will be tomorrow. Excitement level is still not up there yet, unfortunately. Is this normal? I hope so. I dont hope for anything fanciful. As long as the loved ones are here with me, I'm fine. =) I shall not make a big hooha over it. Afterall, its just a birthday.

So yesterday, Ayah asked us out for my pre birthday dinner. Yes, it seems like a "family tradition" to have dinner outside whenever we have birthdays going on in the family. We were initially contemplating between Carousel or Asian Market Cafe. After much thinking, we settled for the latter.

Thank you for the dinner and time spent together! Now, lets just wait for midnight to see who's the first to wish me.... =P

Anyway, after planning beforehand the trip to the zoo was worth it. Despite the fact, I didnt have enough sleep and despite the fact of the unforgiving weather, I managed to still enjoy my time there. Oh yes, despite the fact I got blisters too! Oh well, I'm easily prone to blisters. -.-

We managed to catch the animals shows in the morning. For the first time, I was able to read the map and find our way. It was quite a nice feeling to see the animals there. For someone that is afraid of all kinds of animals, I think its not too bad of an idea to head down to the zoo for a change. Appreciate the wildlife, at least. =)

No doubt, sweat like a pig. But thank goodness, brought extra top, towel and toiletries to wash up and changed! Heh Heh.

Spent the afternoon at Vivo to catch a movie; No Strings Attached. Finally! My rating: 4 popcorns out of 5. =)

I'm sandwiched in between to make decisions. I hate decision-making. what will you do if you are starting to have feelings for your own bestfriend of 10 years? He is there for you when you really need someone to talk to and shared your downfall. He gives you pretty good advices to get your mind focus on something that is much more important. He cheered you up in the middle of the night and called you up just to ensure that you are feeling alright. He always knocked some sense into you. He makes time just to talk to you during his working hours when you on the other hand tried your best not to disturb him but you cant because you will only feel better after listening to him talking to you and making sure that everything will be fine.

What if all these are gone when we decided to be in a relationship and things somehow dont work out? I swear I will cry buckets! I dont wish things like this to happen. And I dont ask having feelings for him to happen either. The feelings just come by nature! Maybe I felt lonely and when he is always there talking to me, I somehow fall for him. I know I should stop having this feelings for him. This is to avoid myself from pinning high hopes which will end up a huge disappointment. Eventually, I will be the one getting all emotional about it.

Sigh.... I hate this feeling.

I've decided to privatise this blog. As much as I'd love to share my daily nonsensical rants to the public but, I cant. First, I dont wish to have that particular someone to be reading up my rants and stalking about my life and then sending me texts after texts and emails after emails just to breathe down my neck. I was MSN-ing with Farhan when I came back from my trip. Talked about random stuffs and whatsnots. He then suggested to meet up one day for Sakae Sushi since he hasnt tried it before. Supposedly to meet on that day itself once he was done running errands. But, it was raining and so we postponed it on the 4th, yesterday. Supposed to meet up at five but eventually we both were late. Prangai habis. Ended up at six, instead. ;)

Make our way to Sakae Sushi, Wheelock. Settled down and start grabbing the coloured plates and whatever we can gobbled up. Salmon FTW! *salivates* After the meal, walked over aimlessly and then sat down outside Takashimaya to chit-chat. Bought bottled drinks and he with his cigarettes to keep ourselves company throughout our conversation. I swear that was the time when I laughed so hard when he told me some funny stories about his little brother, Faizal. And then of course not forgetting, we talked about how young and innocent we were back in primary school which was like what, ten years ago! A decade!

Basically, we talked about family, friends, life and everything under the stars. Lol.

Anyways, I had a good night. Thanks for the meet-up, Farhan. Thanks for the treat and conversation shared. Well, at least it cracked me up. Next treat will be on me! See you probably next weekend for my niece's birthday. ;)

I miss blogging! Well, I am safely back from my two weeks trip. 18 hours of flight is Oh My Goodness! But well, the only way for me to calm myself down is to sleep. And I seriously slept like a pig in the plane. Heh! So this entry will be just a brief one because I am still tired and sleepy. Touched down Singapore last night in the wee hours. Didnt get to sleep for long at home because I was too nervous to get my results. And Alhamdulillah, I get pretty good GPA this time round! Wuhooo! GPA for this end semester is 3.5. Alhamdulillah. All my hardwork paid off. =)

So about the two weeks trip. One word; awesome!!!!!!! Weather was cooling and chilling. Just the way I like it. Shopping was good. People there are so warm and friendly. I shopped alot for myself. Managed to get some stuffs for my girls and Farhan too. Hope they like it! Speaking of them, I just cant wait to meet up with them probably next week! Farhan asked me out for Sakae Sushi. Wuhooo! ;)

So its the last bit of 2010..... I have nothing much to say. Every year, there is always something that I've learnt and gained throughout the year. Something that I can keep as a memory and something that shouldnt be remembered at all. I will not be going countdown anywhere (Never been to. haha! But because this time, I am slepy lah!) but to stay at home and watch the fireworks and party in the room by myself. :)

Counting down: 2 more days to go for my Los Angeles trip.

I'm having mixed feelings about it actually but lets say I'm more in being excited. I cant wait to leave Singapore away from the hustle and bustle of life. So much things to worry and think about. I just want to be away from it. At least, for a temporary moment.

But the thought of leaving my loved ones behind, makes me all emotional deep inside. I cant imagine that I'm leaving them here in Singapore while I will be far away in a country that I've never been to. Only to see them back here in Singapore next year in 2011. I think I'm going to cry at the airport or when I'm in the airplane. :/

Hopefully, everything will be fine for them here in Singapore and for me when I will be over there. Insya'allah. Amin. :)

As for now, you may want to ask hows the packing coming along? As for me, everything has been settled. The clothes, that is. Am just left with folding it and put them in the luggage. Hopefully I will not leave anything behind. I can be very forgetful, if you want to know. VERY!

I wish to update my Blog/Facebook/Twitter while I'm there. Bringing along the netbook with us and lets hope its easy to connect to their WiFi connection. Oh anyway, I've just checked the timing difference between Singapore and Los Angeles.

Singapore is 16 hours AHEAD of Los Angeles, California.

Syukur Alhamdulillah. The fruit of labour after intensive studying just for the class test paid off. I got a Grade A for both modules subsequently. Only God knows how badly I need to do well, even if its just for a class test. Because I believe, we need to score in the In-Module to roughly gauge our standard before scoring for the End-Module. Also, In-Module has a certain percentage that will be included partly in the End-Module. Therefore, I see that both is actually equally important.

Now all the tests has been cleared. Revision has started. And I think I've been studying too much that causes my period to be delayed. Sigh. Its alright. I am so used to irregular period cycle! ;)

Talking about exams, I'll be having my papers on the 6th and 7th, that is. As usual, after the last paper, its time to rejoice! And as for me, I've already have plans as to what I am going to do after my exams.

First, I'll be booking as many driving practicals as often to see my progress. Oh, have I mentioned that I've started to drive on the road already?! It was exciting! ;) So yes, I'll be booking more practicals. Secondly, I'll be flying to L.A (READ: Los Angeles) on the 14th till end of the year. So I might be reaching Singapore on the 31st or new year. Awesome!

It'll be my virgin experience on a long flight, mind you. So please excuse the over-excitement. *rubs hands in glee*

Kakak's classic 27th!

Hi, as you have already known, my sister has been warded at Raffles Hospital due to an acute appendicitis. Please do not say 'She has appendix.' Its incorrect. The fact is, EVERYONE HAS appendix. The correct term is appendicits. Something new to learn here. heh heh heh. She was warded on Friday night and was discharged over the weekend after her surgery, that is. Laparoscopic surgery for appendicitis. Alhamdulillah, she is all well. So much better now.

Alright, let me just sidetrack for quite a bit here. Raffles Hospital is awesome! The room. The room service. The food. Everything is awesome! I actually dont mind staying because its just like a hotel. Lol! Infact, I did sleep for a night. :P

So anyways, it was a classic and memorable 27th birthday for my sister as she got no choice to celebrate her birthday in the hospital. How exciting! ;) I'm sure its one of her memorable birthday celebration ever.

I completed this book in just one and half day. I was so into the book that I woke up early in the morning (very weird!) just to continue reading it. I just love Mitch Albom books. Never disappoint me with his good books, so far. Next, I'll be reading Eat, Pray, Love!

Okay anyway, Behavioural Science Test 1 was earlier this afternoon. It was manageable. Alhamdulillah. I'm praying for the best. Tonight I'm not going to study at all because I'm tired. Need to give myself a rest too.

First thing first, I am done with my Phase Test this morning. It was a nerve-wrecking moment eventhough I've been to a phase test before. Oh well, its normal to get all nervous for an exam actually. I'm glad that one burden is off my shoulder. *wipes sweat*

I went home and took a nap before I decided to take a stroll to the nearby mall just to have some time to myself. At about five-ish, I went out of the house to have my french pedicure done.
Once I'm done, I then went to Popular bookstore to just look around for a good book for myself.

I was contemplating to get either one. I love to read books by Mitch Albom. Very inspirational. Apart of me wanting to get Eat, Pray, Love too because I've been wanting to watch the movie in cinema, you see. Its always a good idea to read the book before watching the movie. At least, you have better visualisation. Thats just my personal opinion. heh heh heh. :P

And so, after taking a long time to decide, I eventually bought both of it. 20% off for both!

I cant wait for December because I'm so psyched for my LA trip! Away from this hustle and bustle of life here in Singapore.
I seriously NEED to book for my driving practical as soon as I get better.

Thats about it. I'll be having my Phase Test tomorrow in the morning. It sucks to come back to school on a Saturday, I know. Tomorrow's phase test would be about Insertion of Nasogastric Tube & Feeding through a Nasogastric Tube. Honestly, I cant wait because I've been practicing it for god knows how many times already. But apart of me, I'm feeling all constipated inside. Now all I hope is my voice will be back by tomorrow and I'll be able to do the practical all-out! Insya'allah. Amin.

I've been trying to blog from my Blackberry but fail. Need to figure it out later so at least its not going to be troublesome for me the next time I wish to blog via BB or the laptop. At a point of time like this, I am withdrawing myself from using the laptop because I'm just too lazy, seriously. I've been sick for a week and it sucks okay. It really is. My sore throat isnt getting any better and same goes for my cough. I gave school a missed again for today. Visit the clinic for the second time. The doctor was saying that I'm having wheezing (oh crap! Asthma attack is here, AGAIN) and he added that I'm having sensitive nose and airways that causes my lungs to be very weak.

Well, it doesnt sound that serious but still, I'm afraid that it can lead to something serious. We're talking about LUNGS here, you see. It is the essential respiration organ in humans and animals. The prinicipal function is to transport oxygen from the atmosphere into the bloodstream and to release carbon dioxide from the bloodstream to the atmosphere. That, everyone knows. -.-

Pray hard that I retrieve back my voice and I need this coughing to stop by this Saturday. Its the crucial time; Phase Test. I need my voice. :'(

Sentosa Spooktacular!

It was my virgin trip for the Sentosa Spooktacular. Initially I wasnt keen on going but after listening to my friends all getting so hyped up for it and they shared their fun experiences they had for the previous year, make me so psyched to go for it.

Instantly, I ping-ed (a new application that I'm starting to hook on) my sister and asked if she could tag along with me. Booked our tickets for the early bird promotion. ;)

This I have to say, despite the fact I wasnt feeling well and got a medical leave for school, I still went for this Spooktacular thing because 1) I do not want to waste the money. 2) Its a once in a year event, so must not missed it. Eventually, we still went for it yo!

I cant believe it that I took this ride hokay!

The whole thing was from 7pm-11pm. But we left earlier than that because crowd was overwhelming and plus, my headache was acting up on me, BIG TIME. I nearly went black out, mind you. Upon reaching home, the terrible vomiting and passing of motion started. Body was so weak. Coughing like nobodys business. :s

But fret not, I'm feeling much better now.

Team-Building.

Friday's 1pm class was cancelled because there was Team Building workshop for the nurses. Alright nurses-to-be, that is. As a warm up, we played that Hunter game where in a group of three, you will need the two tress and a squirrel. I'm sorry, I'm so bad in explaining. But I hope you get what I'm trying to say. :)

It was closed to five in the afternoon that the whole thing ended. As expected we had the 'Amazing Race.' Initially I wasnt that up for it because my mind was thinking of going home, thats all. Nothing else. But it wa worth it because MY TEAM WON 1st! How can I possibly not be happy about it, right? *jumping shot*

Headed home and went for my eyebrow threading because it looks ugly already! Slept like a pig. Whats new. Hmm...

Last but not the least.

School ended early for Nurul, Amin and myself. We were exempted from taking one of the module. So we took the time to go and get the birthday cake and the other necessities to surprise the birthdy boys Ruben and Azim.

Thats it for now. I have a BAD weekend. Sigh...

Just a short update. School has started and I am still not getting used to the waking up early. I'll just need to adjust my bodyclock back to its daily routine. Morning rush to board the bus service 969 in the morning is like a morning disaster, I tell you! Sleeping while standing is becoming a norm already. Lol!

Alright, what else. Oh ye! Afternoon power nap is becoming a part of my everything thing in the list. I need my nap, really! If not, I'll end up sleeping while doing my revision later in the night. Talking about revision, I'm done for tonight. So now, I am going to watch my Korean Drama; Playful Kiss and my Lagenda Budak Setan The Series! Go watch it okay!!!!! ;)

Thanks cousin for lending it to me. I've just finished watching this awhile ago. As usual, I watch it alone on my laptop. A good 3 hours show that was able to keep me entertain. Some guys has so much patience in waiting for the girl they love eh. Aww....

On a sidetrack note. I've been receiving weird unknown tags on my cbox lately. Its pretty annoying actually. Oh and I have a silent reader! I found out myself. Hah Hah Hah... I wonder who are you. Anyway, if you're reading this, I'd like to say Hi, thank you for taking your precious time reading this. And I hope you will not stay as an anonymous. It gets pretty scary. :P

Five years of blogging which accumulated as much as 877 blog entries here makes me hold back for awhile to migrate to Wordpress. Blogger has been my online diary eversince I was fifteen. Its quite long for me actually. I do enjoy blogging eventhough there were times when there was seriously nothing to blog about. My idea of blogging is not to attract readers and flood my comment box. Strictly not. My idea is actually to keep it as a memory sake for myself. Like I have mentioned before, maybe in five or ten years down the road, I might be sitting and reading back my old entries in the archives.

So you see, my archives is the vital thing here. Once I lose it, I will not be able to retrieve it back. Second vital thing here is, privacy. I cant deny the fact that I need my own privacy to blog on certain issues. As we all know, not everything under the sun, the moon and the stars we can blog it out in the public. There are certain sensitive issues or something that is really personal to the blogger that needs to be filtered or privatised when comes to blogging. Truth to be told, throughout this five years of blogging, there were times I need to privatise my blog for privacy. Not because of every entries is personal but because two or three entries only.

I dont wish to set up two blogs; A private & confidential and A public. I just dont want. Dont ask me why. Blogger has one disadvantage and that is, it doesnt allow Password Protected Entries. Whereas Wordpress do. It is therefore easier to blog in a domain whereby you can choose which entry that needs to privatise. Blogger only allow privatised blogs. See the difference?

However, I have not tried blogging in Wordpress. I'm not sure if its 'user friendly.' Maybe I should give myself some time to give it a try first. I will find a way to port all my blogger entries to wordpress first. That will be top priority in the list.

How's that? ^^

I had my first driving practical yesterday. I was nervous to the maximum. Was praying for a non-malay instructor because I know I'll feel uncomfortable and awkward conversing. Checked my car number and went in to find it. Its true, I was having a hardtime finding for my car in the parking lot. But, its alright. hehe. After I found it, stood there and there was this malay instructor standing at the side.

Him: Hi, car number 37 eh?
Me: Ya.

Him: Ouhh, samalah. Kita pun. *sheepish smile macam mintak kene sepak*
Me: So, you're the instructor?

Him: Ye saya.

Me: *quiet but was cusing in my heart*

Then there was this chinese intructor came and...

Him: Hello. You're car 37 isit?
Me: Ya.
Him: Okay, come go in the car first hor.
Malay instructor: hehehehe. Kita main2 ajelah. Kita kereta sebelah punya insructor.

IDIOT.

So the whole 120minutes of practical was O-KAY. But, I had fun though. :) And today, I will be having another practical till evening. My cousin; Lisa will be having her practical at the same time slot as me. Wuhooo!

I forgot to blog about this. Just a short one will do. Make a trip to Jay Bee monthly to get our necessities about a week ago if I'm not mistaken. Bought quite a few DVDs. Back at home, my sister and me watched this till the end and we both cried. We are suckers for love stories! :P

Right now, I'm waiting to watch Mantra! I shall keep on looking for it on Youtube. ;)

One of the weekend, went to town with Lisa to actually check out our Betula/Birkenstock/Papillio. Thanks to those who replied to my facebook when I asked the outlets in Singapore. Instantly, we headed down to Wheelock to check out. Got the design and the size that I wanted but didnt purchase it because I wanted to drop again to town to get it together with my sister.

Had our brunch at Puncak, Far East Plaza. We seriously need a new makan place to dine at in town! Walked around FEP and had our manicure and pedicure done. Love our nails! (",)

The rest of the day was spent at Sephora, ION. Got my foundation from Benefit. I'm such a happy girl! Just do not remind me of the amount I've spent. ;)

I think, thats about it.
